 Try our creative cuisine! A fusion traditional Greek and international kitchen, in a quiet and

historical neighborhood inside the habitable castle of Chios, only a few steps from the port.


 

For a new culinary philosophy

Our philosophy aims to be a well-balanced marriage of tradition with today, that we try to

reflect in every aspect of our restaurant. Starting from the buildings we are housed in, they

date back to 1900 and had become nothing more than totally abandoned ruins. The

untouched and preserved walls with blue coloured details are a reminiscence of old Chios,

but with some new architectural and decorative elements the space has evolved into a

modern tavern.

Our menu consists of a list of meze served in random order. We also recommend to serve all

the plates in the middle of the table so for everyone to share and eat together as we Greeks

use to do!

Actually, our plates intend to be the strongest proof of the harmonious coexistence of

tradition with modern times! They are all inspired by traditional Greek Mediterranean

cuisine but executed with a great modern touch. We are strongly committed to use in our

kitchen exclusively local and Greek products, always fresh, excellent quality and seasonal

ingredients.

We pay tribute to food by uniting ethical values with pleasure in a slower-paced culinary

philosophy.

In other words, our philosophy is based on the idea of resistance to today`s fast food

leveling of taste. Our wish is to bring our clients closer to the culinary tradition of our island

and its people, and to promote respect for the environment by consuming seasonal fresh

raw and slow-cooked ingredients.
